Strategy

We focus on companies that generate between £20 and £500 million or €25 and €550 million in annual revenues and that can benefit from our hands-on support.

We cover a wide spectrum of potential investments ranging from corporate carve-outs, growth capital, retirement sale, buy & build and special situations.

H2 is a flexible investor and is able to structure transactions creatively; via equity or debt; as a share transaction or an asset deal. Transactions range from outright acquisitions to large minority stakes teaming up with incumbent shareholders to help maximise value for all involved. Our investment holding period varies – but we are happy to be invested over a longer period of time compared to traditional private equity companies.

Our team of investment professionals consist of high quality and high energy people with extensive experience in top tier consulting or management, most in both. This allows H2 to conduct most of the operational or commercial due diligence in-house and deliver transactions quickly and decisively.

In all cases we offer pro-active support to the management of our portfolio companies – but without becoming involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

Henry joined H2 in 2024 and is involved in both evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting existing portfolio companies.

 

Prior to joining H2, Henry spent nearly six years at the strategy consultancy firm, Roland Berger, where he was a core member of the Transaction & Investor Services platform supporting private equity and strategic investors across the Industrial and Regulated & Infrastructure sectors predominantly within the mid-market.

 

Henry graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor (Hons) in Economics. His interests outside of work are road cycling where he competes in time trials, running and skiing.
